From the cloud-veiled mountains of Yunnan, the birthplace of tea, this Golden Monkey is made exclusively from the buds of the plant, making it the black tea counterpart to Silver Needle. Its complex, velvety liquor imparts notes of creamy cacao and cedarwood, tempered by a subtle earthiness with just a hint of sweet yam and honeyed peach. These young buds of the tea plant are incredibly rich in theanine, an amino acid that may aid relaxation & improve mood.

This tea can also be called “Black Bud” or “Monkey-Picked.”
